The food writer recommends an exuberant and inexpensive Persian restaurant in Chiswick, a grand Soho institution and a brilliant west London farmers’ market

“I was going to take you to Rice. It’s run by an exuberant Persian woman, serving mostly shish, grilled meats and rice. You can go there for lunch and it doesn’t take very long, it costs very little, a fiver a head or something. And it’s wonderful in the evening too because you can sit out.” – Elisabeth
