4 slices of good bread
Cheese (Fergus uses St James sheep’s milk cheese)
Turn on the sandwich maker.
Slice enough cheese to generously cover two slices of bread. Complete the sandwiches with the other two slices.
When the sandwich maker is hot enough, add the sandwiches and toast until the cheese is bubbling and running out the sides.
Slice each sandwich and serve hot. Chutney is always good with cheese on toast, or a green salad.
